    Disperis wealei bears two to five stem leaves that are alternate or scattered and sessile, clasping the leaves. They are elliptic to oblong-lanceolate in shape and hairless.

    Only a couple of floral bracts are visible on the inflorescence in picture, the one greenish white, the other withered (Manning, 2009; Pooley, 1998).
