    Flowers of Aloe globuligemma start off as globular, beady red buds along the upper side of flowering stems in the branched panicle. All the flowers point backwards to the stem base. The perianths tend to become lighter in colour as they open, grading to yellow.

    The inner three perianth segments are visibly represented on the bud surfaces by a narrow strip between the margins of the outer ones in the upper halves of perianths. Below that the tube remains undivided (Frandsen, 2017; Van Wyk and Smith, 2003; iNaturalist).
