An abundance of succulent Anacampseros arachnoides leaves form the dense branch-tip rosettes on lengthening and multiplying stems as the plant spreads in favourable conditions. The deltoid leaves, swollen triangles acutely pointed, hide the stems. Here clearly too heavy for any stem to lift a tip.
The leaves are alternate and simple, the green ones exposed. The fine cobweb covering over the leaves varies on A. arachnoides plants from being about absent to woollier than this... also spider work features individual differences.
Some leaf tips in picture curve down beak-like and attenuate. The leaves are green, purple, brown or yellowish, in little colour order based on age (Smith and Crouch, 2009).
