    Orbea umbracula stems

    The four-angled stems of Orbea umbracula are erect, branching above-ground to become 7,5 cm tall and 8 mm in diameter. The stems surfaces are channelled with ascending or spreading teeth along the angled ridges. The tubercular teeth are conspicuously large, up to 2 cm long. Stem colour is pale greyish with purple markings scattered upon it (www.llifle.com).
