Helichrysum moeserianum flowering

The densely woolly leaves of Helichrysum moeserianum are narrowly paddle-shaped and alternate. Leaf size diminishes higher up on the plant. Spaced leaves like bracts are also found among the flower stalks that grow from the erect stem-tips. Leaf dimensions are 15 mm to 30 mm by 3 mm to 5 mm.

The small, bright yellow flowerheads grow in crowded, flat-topped corymb-shaped clusters above the foliage. Each bell-shaped flowerhead is surrounded by about five rows of imbricately overlapping involucral bracts that spread at their tips around the dense bunch of disc florets.
