    These pale blue and yellow daisies were flowering happily in a road reserve in the Ceres Karoo during September, without a functional leaf in sight.

    Resembling flowers of the Amellus and Garuleum genera, the plant may also be a Felicia annual like Felicia australis, F. dubia, F. merxmuelleri or F. microsperma (Manning, 2009; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iSpot; http://redlist.sanbi.org).
