    Wiborgia tetraptera leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Thabo Maphisa

The alternate, trifoliolate leaves of Wiborgia tetraptera are grey-green and faintly hairy. The leaflet shape is elliptic, tapering at both ends and the tips acutely pointed. The margins are entire, some of them reddish in picture. The leaflets tend to fold in along their midribs (Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iNaturalist).
