The imbricate or overlapping leaves of Agathosma capitata are narrowly lance-shaped, acutely keeled and blunt-tipped, curving in to the stems. The margins and keels are ciliate or stubbly hairy, the rest of the leaves glabrous or hairless (Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; JSTOR; iNaturalist).
