The alternate leaves of Ursinia anthemoides are finely (once or twice) divided into long thread-like segments. The hairless surfaces are slightly fleshy and may be channelled, particularly the midrib or rachis.

The leaves are aromatic, strongly when bruised. They become 2 cm to 5 cm long (Manning, 2007; Manning and Goldblatt, 1996; iNaturalist).
