Galenia sarcophylla produces many small pink or magenta flowers, sometimes cream or yellow ones, growing in small clusters at the tips of short stems, or from leaf axils.

The bisexual flower has fleshy sepals and a short corolla tube ending in five spreading lobes. The stamens spread, angling up from under the ovary. The fruit is a small capsule.

Flowering happens from before midwinter to after midspring (Shearing and Van Heerden, 2008; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
