    The yellow Bulbine praemorsa flower has reflexed perianth segments. The lines down the centre of each segment are green in some cases, brown in others.

    The midsection of each filament is densely covered in yellow beard-like fluff, growing longest at the top, shortest at the base. The deeply divided, short anthers are pale yellow and coarsely surfaced, probably from pollen grains.

    The narrow, green ovary in the flower centre is superior in position, cylindrical to ellipsoid in shape (Manning, 2009; Le Roux, et al, 2005; iNaturalist).
