This yellow-green, young Brabejum stellatifolium leaf-tip shows dull shine and faint lateral veins across its blade. There is a sparse covering of soft whitish hairs, an optional feature for leaves of the species.

The variability in size, curving and elongation of the marginal toothing is notable (Coates Palgrave, 2002; Leistner, (Ed.), 2000; iNaturalist; http://pza.sanbi.org).
