This shy Streptocarpus dunnii plant produced its inflorescence modestly, as usual among rocks, although this time more rock, less plant. The usual pollinator of the species is the malachite sunbird. Presumably it will come darting among the rocks when hungry and do the honours without failing to find the flowers.
The raised oblong leaf parts between the parallel veins from the midrib are ridged in repeated curving patterns. The undamaged margins show fine, not quite regular teeth but regular pointed lobes with curved valleys spacing them fairly evenly (Manning, 2009; Germishuizen and Clarke, 2003; iNaturalist; https://researchspace.ukzn.ac.za).
