    In profile the Disa hallackii flower can be seen to angle outwards and upwards from the central stalk.

    The bulging surface of the hood is longitudinally lined, yellowish green in the back half, white with some unevenly spread, fine blue markings towards the tip. The hood tip is further forward than the sagging median petal or lip that protrudes below.

    The back end of the hood is yellow-green. It tapers into the down-curving spur positioned above the similarly coloured oblong ovary and below the nearly erect, acutely pointed floral bract.

    The dark blue lip points down between the lateral sepals that angle down somewhat and are slightly oblique in shape (Liltved and Johnson, 2012; Privett and Lutzeyer, 2010; iNaturalist).
