Oedera multipunctata and admirer

Oedera multipunctata has pale green, narrow leaves, only near the tips of its erect, branched stems.

The yellow flowerheads have few ray florets spreading around small discs consisting of few disc florets characterised by tubular, point-tipped corollas. The involucre below the yellow capitula or head is long and narrowly cylindrical, comprising several rows of pale brown-tipped bracts.

These shrubs do well on the rocky sandstone slopes of their geographical distribution, less so on the arable flats where they compete with agricultural activities.
