    Grewia hexamita leaves are not always equally shiny on top. Here they are droopy and possibly short on moisture. The lower surfaces are paler green, velvety white or yellowish.

    The veining is clear to see on both surfaces in picture, prominent on the lower one.

    Game including kudu, elephant and giraffe commonly browse the leaves (Schmidt, et al, 2002; Van Wyk and Van Wyk, 1997; Pooley, 1993; Van Wyk, 1984; iNaturalist).
