    A Delosperma leendertziae flower has about 20 to 25 yellow petals, roughly in one whorl although there is some overlapping. The petals are oblong to oblanceolate, ascending around the flower centre. They curve down slightly or sag to their tips that are mostly notched.

    The bunch of stamens erect in the flower centre in picture is rather loose (Smith, et al, 1998; Van Wyk and Malan, 1997; iNaturalist).
