The flowers of Oxalis punctata grow solitary on scapes well above the foliage. Flower colour is white, pink or lilac, the flower centre greenish or lemon yellow, sometimes pale brown. The flower tube is long, narrowly funnel-shaped before the mouth, the sepals small, green and pointed.
The corolla lobes are about oblong, their tips rounded to somewhat flat. Flower diameter is about 1,5 cm. Flowering occurs in autumn and winter. This one was seen in April (Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2015; Bond and Goldblatt, 1984; iSpot).
