Adromischus hemisphaericus is a small succulent shrublet with obovate, silvery leaves, thick and fleshy. It branches, develop a woody stem as a mature plant.
The leaves are the hallmark of the appeal of this genus as the flowers are small. Some of them resemble certain species of Tylecodon. There are 26 species of Adromischus. They present some of the popular options for container plants as they grow easily; sometimes from just one leaf (www.thesucculentgarden.com.au; Vlok and Schutte-Vlok, 2010).
