    Eberlanzia schneideriana leaves
    Author: Ivan Lätti
    Photographer: Judd Kirkel Welwitch

The leaves of Eberlanzia schneideriana are rounded in a club-shape with tiny pointed, orange tips. Three just discernible ridges on the specimen in picture suggest three-sidedness of the leaves, hidden by the conspicuous, succulent bulge. The leaf base tapers like a hot air balloon does towards its basket. Leaves are about sessile. The leaf colouring is pale to yellowish green. Leaf texture is rough from tiny, short, whitish hairs (Smith, et al, 1998).
