    The flower of Geissorhiza ovata has its corolla spreading widely here, only some tepal tips still slightly upturned. The dark markings at the tepal lobe bases in the flower centre are quite distinct: two club-shaped markings on each tepal flanking a thin dark line. These markings may also be pinkish red, less pronounced in structure and even quite faint.

    The pale, translucent style divides into three short, straight stigma branches (Manning, 2007; iSpot).
