Osteospermum sinuatum var. sinuatum purple wings

The wings of the Osteospermum sinuatum var. sinuatum fruits hanging in a dense, circular cluster vary in darker lighter shades of purple. The ripening seed in the central axis of each fruit is dark and oblong (Le Roux, et al, 2005; Manning and Goldblatt, 1997; iNaturalist).
